Great Eccleston Scouts have been producing a magazine called the Patrol
We first started printing our magazine back in 1998. But unfortunately those very first issues were produced as photo copies, so we are unable to reproduce them on line. Fortunately some of the others were saved, and you can accesses them threw the links.
During the evolution of these magazines, the content and shape were changed so what you see in the links, is not a true representation of the originals. This is because I have found it difficult to reproduces some of the pictures and graphics as a web page, and you will appreciate that some of the items are not appropriate for the WWW, but at least you will be able to get an insight into what we have been doing over the last few years. Considering we are a small rural community I think you will agree we have made a large contribution to Scouting over the past few years.
The above is what the heading to our magazine looks like, you will also see that we make no charge for it but rely solely on donations, and sponsorship whenever possible, but living in a small rural community limits us to the number of local businesses we can approach for help.
